Woo-hoo! Went to the Office 2000 party at the Harley Davidson Cafe last night. It started out with a 40 minute presentation by the head Office product manager that detailed much of the process they go through at Microsoft to create a product like Office 2000 and FrontPage 2000. Learned a lot here.
Once the demo was over, we hung around for a while to butt heads with some of the MS engineers who work with the FrontPage product. That was interesting.
Here's the cool part - we scored copies of the Office 2000 and FrontPage 2000 corporate beta. This is much spiffier than the standard beta release. This is the big enchilada. :) We will be rolling out our own FP 2000 beta within the next few weeks. Stay tuned...
