Julie has already done a terrific job of discussing the cool new stuff here at Comdex. I don't see any need to rehash that. I want to discuss a subject much more important and interesting, Elvis. A.K.A. "The King"(thank you very much)
As you know, we didn't have much luck locating the jumpsuited icon last year. Alas, we are having the same difficulty this year. The closest we have come so far is a bronze statue in the lobby of the Las Vegas Hilton. However, I did see a set of muttonchops on a guy in the Sands Convention Center that would have made Elvis proud.
We have seen a few celebs including Dennis Miller, Bill Gates and Ozzie Smith. The big news out here happened a few days ago when Dennis Rodman married the famous showgirl Carmen Elektra at the Little Chapel of Flowers".
One last lookalike sighting. I sat next to a woman on the flight here who was a dead ringer for Monica Lewinsky. She was even wearing a blue dress;)
